Storytime, Lunch Date and Bath Time

On Tuesday, Braeden had a playdate at the library with Ayson. They listened to stories by the librarian, sang some songs, and got to play with shakers (they are egg shaped and sound like you are shaking sand) and see bubbles. They are such good listeners!!
Braeden has also gotten a new pair of sneakers! His first offical pair of shoes. We are so impressed with how well he crawls around and stands with them. He doesn't seem to mind them at all. Just putting shoes on him makes me feel like he is so much bigger!! I weighed him on the scale with me the other day and he was 19 pounds!! I wonder how much he will be for his ONE year check up!!

After storytime, we headed to Panara for some yummy lunch! I got my favorite Fuji Apple Salad and Braeden ate veggie stixs and some applesauce. These two look so adorable sitting at the table eating. I can only imagine what they were thinking and talking about to each other!

Later that night, Mike and I were giving Braeden a bath and I thought I would capture some of cute pics of him! After his bath, we have adding brushing his teeth to our nighttime routine. He actually really likes it. He gets to sit in the sink and we brush his teeth, while he bites us! OUCH! Sometimes, he starts laughing and kissing the mirror. He sees such a cute boy on the other side!!

We're CRUISIN!!

Braeden is officially crusin!! He is pretty fast already. He loves to crawl up onto the couch and ottomans and cruise along. He is quite the risk taker these days. The bumps on his head are far from few. Everyday he tries something new. He is busy climbing up walls to stand, pulling up on anything and everything he can and letting go!!
Tonight he tried eating a dinner full of all table food!! YAY! He ate chicken, pineapple, cheese, and brocolli, and a few veggie stixs (his favorite). I was so impressed. He "MMMMM'd" the entire time. I knew he was enjoying every single bite. He even tried sharing a few pieces with me.

Music Class, Woodward Park, and Ice Cream

On Friday, Braeden and I went to a music demo class. He really enjoyed being around other kiddos and playing with instruments. We even made a new friend at this class!!

This weekend was lots of fun. Braeden and I tried to surprise daddy at his work on Saturday! (We're not very good at keeping secrets or being descreet.) We went to Woodward park to walk around and enjoy the beautiful weather. Braeden was still feeling a little bit stuffy from his cold, so we thought the outside would do him some good. He loves being outside and smiled the whole time!!! We got hungry and hot after our hiking, so we decided to go get ice cream from our new favorite place TwistBerry. It was so yummy. Braeden loved trying some of the flavors including cookies and cream!!

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!

Today was Braeden's very first Rosh Hashanah. We went over to our friends' Heather and Jerry's house for dinner tonight.  Braeden tried and LOVED the matzah ball soup!! Mike tried to give him a piece of gelfite fish and he shut his mouth so tight, we couldn't get even a tiny piece in for him to try. I guess he made up his mind!! I love giving him new stuff and seeing how he reacts.

We are working on taking naps in the crib and falling asleep by himself during the day. So far, he is doing amazing. He cries for ten minutes or less and then falls asleep. I am so proud of him!
He must have a cold or pretty bad allergies. He has sneezed so many times today and he has a runny nose. Poor little guy! He had a lot of excitement tonight, so hopefully he will sleep good!

Waving

Braeden can offically wave now! Over Labor Day weekend in KC with family, he started to wave to everyone. We can wave to him and he does it back with a huge smile!! We are so excited to see him talking (babbling) a bunch and starting to make lots of connections. He smiles, waves, and says "dada" when daddy comes home from work. It is so cute to see him so excited for daddy!

BIRTHDAY WEEKEND IN KC!

Aunt Jen loves me!
This weekend was so much fun! Braeden loves being around his cousins and all his aunts and uncles and grandparents.

Tushie Time!
Saturday, we went shopping at the outlet mall and Braeden was so good the whole time. Cousin Alyssa took us on a walk to see her school and swing on the swings. Then, in the evening, all the family came over to the Grandma and Grandpas house to celebrate the birthdays (Dara, Me, Mike, and Uncle Gary). We had a blast playing and being with family.

Sunday we went to the Arboretum for a beautiful walk. Grandma, Grammy, Aunt Dara and Summer, and Daddy and me all went in the afternoon.

This morning, we had all the kiddos take professional pictures together. I got to take a quick picture of the boys on the fire truck while the photographer was shooting. I can't wait to see how they come out!!
We drove back this afternoon to end the weekend on a great note!
Swinging fun with Aunt Hilda
Cousins David, Alyssa, Summer, and Jonah

Happy 10 months old!!

Braeden is such a flirt. He loves to show off his smile and giggle for the ladies. What a ladies man!!

He is so busy moving around the house now, that I am constantly following him now. We are continuing physical therapy and he is progressing well. He is beginning to cruise along the couch and the ottoman in the house. He can climb up onto things and pulls to stand really well. Braeden is doing so well, that he has almost closed the gap between his adjusted age and his real age. YAY! He is wearing 9-12 month clothing and growing everyday.
We are going to KC for the weekend to celebrate Aunt Dara's birthday, my birthday, and daddy's birthday. We are very excited for a fun filled weekend with lots of family!
