Vacation NEWS part 2

Next stop: Florida

On Tuesday morning, we headed to Florida to see some family and have fun. While we were there, we saw Nana, Aunt Grace and Uncle Dave, Aunt Debby and Uncle Bob (who flew down from Conneticut), Aunt Janet (who flew down from Boston), Cousins Chelsea and baby Savannah and Tara. Wednesday morning we went to the beach with Braeden. He loved eating the sand and seaweed. We had a great time in the sun and enjoying the weather. We went out to a fun seafood place for dinner with the family and spent the evening hanging out at Nana's house.
Thursday we checked out the famous Saw Grass Mills mall shopped around. Braeden loves to be around people and explore everything. Rainforest cafe was in mall and we took Braeden inside to see all the different fishes and animals. He loved every minute of it.
Friday we went down to Fort Lauderdale to go on a boat ride. We got to see all kinds of yachts and boats, millionaires homes, port everglades and so much more. Unfortunately, by this time of the trip Braeden had gotten sick and didn't enjoy anything. He slept in his car seat where ever we went and was as delicious as you could expect a baby with a cold. He even threw up on me 3 times, YES three times throughout the trip! Thankful he was a great sport and the fever went away after one day. We had a blast in Florida and look forward to making this a yearly trip for a while.

Vacation NEWS part 1

First stop: Johnson Farms

On Friday night, we headed to KC for the weekend. Braeden was awesome and slept the whole time. The next day we went to the Johnson Farm Pumpkin Patch in Belton, MO with cousin Lori, Aunt Jen, Alyssa, and David. We had such a great time on the tractor hayride to the puumpkin patch picking area, going through a corn maze, playing on a fire truck, seeing animals, climbing haystacks, and even seeing a pumpkin popper crunch pumpkins!

Saturday night we celebrated Nonnie and Poppy's birthdays. We had delicious deli meat and our favorite DQ ice cream cake. After the celebration, the kids all got baths and put on their pjs.

The rest of the weekend we got to hang out at Grandma and Grandpa's house and play. We even got everyone dressed up in their halloween costumes just to take some fun pics!

OKC Thunder Game

Tuesday night was quite an event. I was dancing for pre-game show at the OKC Thunder game against the Memphis Grizzlies. I practiced the routine over several weeks with other jazzercisers and was very excited to perform. Mike and Braeden were ready to watch me perform!! We met at the OSU hospital where Mike works and then walked over to the BOK center where the game was being played. We got there early and took some pictures. We went on the court to dance at 6:30pm. It was a lot of fun and I was glad that I didn't mess the dance up. We were so good, that the TU basketball team asked us to do a half time show for them in January! YAY!

Pumpkin Town!

This weekend we did more fall activities with Braeden. We enjoyed a run along the Tulsa trails. We went to Pumpkin town and walked around with Braeden in the wagon. He is such a dare devil. He preferred to sit tight and NOT hold on when we were going up and down hills and lots of bumps. He even fell back at one point and didn't even make a peep. He just looked at us and was like...uhh can you help me up or what?  We bought big and little pumpkins to take home. Later, after Braeden was asleep, Mike and I carved our very first pumpkins together! We had fun picking out patterns and making a pumpkin mess! They actually came out really good.

Hangin' with MOMMY!

Here are some cute pics from us just hanging out!

Pumpkin Patch

Amongst all the chaos with the doggy, we still managed a little trip to the pumpkin patch. Braeden loved seeing all the pumpkins and touching stuff. It was his first time actually crawling and moving around on the grass. We took him through a maze and it was completely dark in there. I was the one that was scared! We checked out all the animals and different fall food. It was fun to see scarecrows, camels, piggies, ducks, and lots more. We will definitely do this again!
